Seeso. You Get It.
To subscribe an audience of comedy loving cord cutters, NBC Universal created Seeso. A digitally-centric laugh network designed for the comedy connoisseur.
With shows like Monty Python, The Kids in the Hall, 40 years of SNL, and a freshman class of Originals, we helped launch the brand and product with their social channels on full blast.
Our assignment was to create branded and social content that would not only turn people on to the service, but reignite love for a huge catalog of classic comedy shows.
Role: Creative Lead
To explain what Seeso is, we created what people in the start-up world call an "explainer video". Break-out Seeso stars, Cameron & Rhea, receive a celestial visit and an education on what's on God's playlist. Along the way viewers and prospective subscribers learn why $3.99 is a bargain for all the great comedy at their fingertips.
And of course a "making of" video to explain how we made the explainer...
Getting some likes.
The Seeso brand voice came to life through daily social posts. The perfect medium to interject a funny and timely point of view to an audience of comedy hungry swipers. Original formats were created so that we could rapidly publish content, mining the most memorable and quotable personas from the catalog. Mashing up old stars with new characters helped create awareness around the new slate of original shows.
