How do you get an irrelevant brand to trend on BuzzFeed?

To connect with Millennial women, Garnier created a campaign centered around “#GirlProblems”. From clothes to cramps, make-up to men, and of course hair, Garnier took real #GirlProblems Tweets and set out to solve them.

First, they released a video series of the funniest #GirlProblems read by an audience that will never understand them — guys. Then, Garnier took real #HairProblem tweets and started solving them by responding with How-To videos, BuzzFeed list-icals and Instagram hacks.
