As live stream experiences were just taking hold, American Express partnered with CBS to see if they could truly offer a unique experience to audiences. 

John Mayer was about to go on tour with tickets offered to American Express Cardmembers first so they decided to sponsor an exclusive show featured on the Live on Letterman Webcast.

Thousands of ladies (and unidentified men) tuned in to the rare live performance filmed on the legendary Ed Sullivan Theater set.
